Introduction to Macroeconomics (taught in German)
In this course, students learn about the structure and functioning of basic macroeconomic models. They will have knowledge in the areas of business cycle and employment theory. They will be able to discuss the possibilities and limitations of stabilisation policy and labour market reforms on the basis of theoretical models and establish connections between theoretical results and empirical evidence. During the exercises, students practise the analysis of theoretical models and discuss how the models can be used to answer current economic policy questions.
